1st C&A are always on the lookout for new recruits from the local area (Depot Corner, Chilwell, Beeson, Attenborough & Toton)
We accept both boys and girls from 6-8 into our Beaver colony, 8-10 into our Cub Pack and 10-14 into our Scout Troop and we are always on the look out for adult assistance.Scouts (10-14 year olds)
Scouting at 1st C&A is ideal for young people who want a break from the usual after school routine of homework, games and TV. With the emphasis on adventurous activities, action and involvement, Scouting means more than just camping. Hiking, rock climbing, gliding, sailing, pioneering, canoeing, parascending, abseiling, First Aid, motor mechanics, electronics, amateur radio and photography are just some of the things our scouts do.

Cub Scouts (8-10 year olds)
The Cub pack at 1st C&A do loads of fun things. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. If you do them well you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.
Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm. Sometimes you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.

Beaver Scouts (6-8 year olds)
Our Beaver Colony has a lots of fun activities, badges, games and we go out on many trips to Amusements parks, Fire stations, Police stations, Science parks and many other exciting places. Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others.
